What is Transparency International?

Transparency International, the global civil society organization leading the fight against corruption, brings people together in a powerful worldwide coalition to end the devastating impact of corruption on men, women and children around the world.

What is Transparency International Summer School on Integrity?

The Transparency International Summer School on Integrity is the first academic programme in the post-Soviet region to tackle the issue of corruption in the public and private sectors. Participants will learn from international anti-corruption experts and academics about the underlying causes of corruption and about the tools used in the fight against corruption.

What is Mykolas Romeris University?

Travelling to Vilnius and Lithuania

By plane. Airlines that operate flights to Vilnius are Aer Lingus, AirBaltic, Czech Airlines, Estonian Air, Finnair, Lufthansa, Norwegian AirShuttle, Brussels Airlines, Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) and LOT. There are direct flights from Riga, Tallin, Berlin, Dublin, London, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Munich, Oslo, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Helsinki, Paris, Rome, Vienna, Brussels, Prague, Kiev, Warsaw, Moscow.
By train. Vilnius has train connections to cities in Russia, Ukraine and Belarus, as well as with Daugavpils in Latvia and Warsaw in Poland.
By bus. Eurolines or Ecolines connects Vilnius with most cities of Europe.

Visas and Insurance

According to Schengen Law, pupils, students and accompanying teachers or lecturers, who undertake trips for the purposes of study or educational training has a right to obtain visas free of charge. Participants will be assisted by organizers in obtaining their visas (detailed information: Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania).

Participants are expected to cover their own insurance expenses.
